EVOLUIR

Evoluir (To Evolve) is a work that invites contemplation of time and its incessant passing.

Through a series of twelve images manually transferred onto linen, it represents the structure imposed by our calendar: twelve months that mark us, govern us, and drag us into a constant and often dizzying cycle.

We live at a frantic pace, immersed in a routine dictated by clocks, planners, and deadlines. However, amid this vortex, every moment leaves a mark; every experience transforms us.

Evoluir reminds us that we are in constant change. We are not the same as we were a month, a day, or a moment ago. We evolve, sometimes without noticing, shaped by what we live, what we feel, what we lose, and also by what we learn.

This work proposes that we pause for a moment. To observe. To feel. To reflect on how time not only flies, but passes through us and redefines us. Through this piece, I want to invite viewers to become aware of their own evolution, to recognize within themselves that continuous movement that is living.
