No puedo salir – 2022
(La mente nunca para y a veces nos enredamos en nuestros pensamientos y no podemos salir)
Mi investigación y experimentación se basa en habitar con mi cuerpo distintos territorios, en este caso específico fue en Lisboa, Portugal una ciudad que tiene más de 750.000 casas y espacios abandonados. Los autorretratos y videoperformance son un registro de aquello que sucedió durante las experimentaciones de habitar con mi cuerpo desnudo estos espacios.
El vacío interior y el desaliento son el eje central de mi obra.
I can’t Leave – 2022
(The mind never stops and sometimes we get entangled in our thoughts and we can’t get out)
My research and experimentation is based on inhabiting with my body different territories, in this specific case it was in Lisbon, Portugal, a city that has more than 750,000 houses and abandoned spaces. The self-portraits and video-performances are a record of what happened during the experimentations of inhabiting these spaces with my naked body.
The inner emptiness and discouragement are the central axis of my work.
